Devika E. Davis, is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She completed her undergraduate studies in Virginia at Radford University and later obtained her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Davis, a native of Richmond, has practiced criminal law in courts throughout the Commonwealth for nearly a decade. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Davis served as a law clerk for the Richmond Circuit Court and was an Assistant Public Defender for the City of Richmond. She has served as a Staff Attorney for the Richmond Adult Drug Treatment Court for over four years and she regularly provides pro bono representation for persons who are unable to afford counsel in civil matters involving child custody and support. Ms. Davis is the immediate past chair of one of the Virginia State Bar’s Disciplinary Committees. She is a member of the Richmond Criminal Bar Association, the Henrico County Bar Association, the Hill Tucker Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association.
In addition to her practice and service to the bar, Ms. Davis remains involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Richmond Boys Choir.
